Monday GCA 5th graders built graham cracker homes to learn about foundations and stability.
Wednesday, Mrs. Demartini’s 4th grade class and Mrs. Vickers’ 5th grade class enjoyed a field trip to Landmark Park. The children learned about working the land and making their own feast.
Before feasting on turkey and sides, GCA’s 4th and 5th grade class wrote what they were thankful for and added it to “Thankful Turkey’s tail”. Among the items these student were thankful were God, family, their school, and their teachers.
This week, Mrs. Vicker’s 5th grade class swabbed several common areas at GCA and then placed them in a petri dish. Their findings were gross. 🙂
