The 7th & 8th grade students enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Okefenokee Swamp & Historic Savannah during their Trip Week. They spent time at the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge enjoying a boat tour, exhibits, Chesser Island Homestead and the Swampwalk. In Savannah they took a Trolley Tour of Historic Savannah, enjoyed a Riverboat Cruise, and the Legends of Savannah Night Tour. They had an opportunity to visit Fort Jackson where the students participated in Civil War training, they ate at the Whistle Stop Cafe, visited the Tybee Island Lighthouse, and enjoyed a tour Fort Pulaski. Many thanks to Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Henderson for organizing this great trip!
