GCA Swimmers Qualify for State

Saturday,November 12th, GCA swimmers attended the Deerfield Invitational in Albany at Darton State College.

In JV Christina Longs swam the 50 free placing 7th, 100 free placing 8th and the 50 backstroke placing 9th.

Timothy Longs swam the 50 free placing 2nd, 100 free placing 2nd and the 50 butterfly placing 2nd

In Varsity Thad Whitaker swam the 200 free placing 3rd, 50 free placing 6th and the 500 free placing 2nd.

Thad’s performance in the 200 free and 500 free and Timothy’s performance in the 50 free, 100 free and 50 butterfly were fast enough to make cuts for the state meet at Ga Tech in January of 2017.  Congratulations GCA Swimmers!!
