Cross Country Team – Region Runner-up!!!

The GCA Boys’ Cross Country Team finished as runner-up at the GISA Region 3AA Cross Country Meet at Green wood Plantation in Thomasville, GA on October 20th.  The team, led by Chase and Kyle Harris (2nd and 3rd overall) included season best performances by Anderson Bailey, Bryce McQuaid, Josh Carnes, Jackson Harrell, and Daniel Ray.  Also participating in the meet were region rivals, Brookwood, Crisp, Highland Christian, Randolph Southern, Southwest Georgia, Valwood, Westfield, and Westwood.  The Boys’ Team from Brookwood School won the 2011 3AA Region Championship.  The top four teams from our region have earned the right to participate in the GISA State Championship Meet to be held on Saturday, October 29th at Wesleyan College in Macon, GA.

Participating in the Region Meet for the Lady Cougars were Abbey Smith and Beth Ann Hodges.
