Cougar Teams Give Back to Community

On December 21st, the GCA girls and boys teams took their minds off of basketball to think of others as they delivered Christmas presents to a family in Bainbridge. Both teams held a fundraiser in early December which allowed them to spend around $1,200.00 on a shopping spree for this family. Players were divided into groups and assigned a member of the family to shop for along with a given budget. Coach Murr stated “The teams were very excited to see the family receive the gifts. We want our students to recognize how much God has blessed them and to be active in giving to, and serving others.”
