Vision
The vision of Grace Christian Academy is to develop generations of leaders who will bring glory to God.
We envision our graduates to become:
Compassionate women and men of strong Christian character and deep faith.
Lifelong servant leaders within their churches, homes, communities, and the world.
Bold and creative thinkers who have developed a love of learning and who pursue excellence in all they do. Active, healthy individuals who treat their bodies as the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Mission
As a ministry of Grace Church, the mission of Grace Christian Academy is to partner with like-minded, biblically defined Christian families, to grow the whole child (spirit, mind, and body) through a Christ-centered, rigorous college preparatory education.
Growing our spirit, mind, and body in harmony with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Our History
When Grace Church started 30+ years ago, it began with a strong emphasis on discipleship – following Christ fully in every area of life. Not too long after it’s inception, the church purchased the current property and built it’s first building, not fully knowing what God had planned
Just over 10 years later, God gave the leaders of Grace Church a passion to help Christian families disciple their kids through education – education that acknowledges the hand of God in every field of learning, including science, history, fine arts and athletics.
This vision empowered the church family to establish the ministry of Grace Christian Academy (1994), a school with high academics and a Christ-centered emphasis.
The people of Grace Church invested hundreds of hours and many thousands of dollars to construct the needed buildings and to provide ongoing support for the school. With Grace Church as its anchor, GCA has developed into an inter-denominational community Christian school that ministers throughout the local area. Currently, the student body represents more than 60 churches, and the teachers reflect that same diversity.
The GCA Board of Trustees was intentionally created with members from a variety of churches. In addition, a foundation board was established to secure long-term funding for the school ministry. The athletic boosters and the G-Team provide additional avenues for a wide variety of parents to have ownership in the school efforts.
We look forward to what God will do this year as he continues to direct this ministry to be an extension of parental efforts to educate their children mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually.
